Licence terms
What the licence does and does not cover
- Public records stay public: every figure we licence is already published by a government agency. What the licence buys is the cleaned, documented and reconciled view, not the underlying record.
- No personal data is licensed, ever. There are no victim names, addresses, case numbers or suspect details in this dataset, and we will not add them.
- Every delivery carries its extract date, the agency of record and the caveat sheet, so a newsroom can defend a number on air.
- Corrections propagate: when an agency restates a year, licence holders get the revision with a note explaining what changed.
Attribution: “Source: HealthyManthra Crime Tracker, compiled from public agency releases.” Licence fees cover compilation, reconciliation and support — never the public record itself, which stays free to read on the tracker.
